Overview: Located in a former mechanics garage on Market St, South Melbourne, ONE68 recently completed the interior fitout for South Australian brewery company Pirate Life. Their first foray into Victoria, this completely renovated space leans triumphantly into the site’s history with updated industrial-cool finishes such as polished concrete floors with hand painted checkered patterns, exposed ceilings, metal pendant lights & retro-style furniture. The character of the building has also been retained through original brick walls & other historical features. Whilst fun design elements like an ornamental plastic strip installation & hand-painted murals, add a sense of whimsy to enjoy throughout.
