ONE68 are proud to manufacture most of our own joinery at our own manufacturing facility in Melbourne. Sometimes, however, the most cost-effective and practical solution can be to import joinery, particularly where large volumes are required, from further afield. We have an extensive network of partnering factories in China where we have products manufactured. Products we have sourced for our clients include joinery, metalwork, acrylic, signage, tiles, flooring and lights. We’ve developed a strict process with our partners in China to ensure quality control. The process starts in our Melbourne office where we design the products based on client’s requirements. Plans are translated into the local language and our team makes several visits to our Chinese counterparts over the course of production. This includes a meeting prior to manufacture, several during, and a final Quality Assurance check before the items are shipped back to our Melbourne facility. Imported joinery is an extension of our local operation, providing our clients with expertise around quality control, procurement and freight logistics.
