Overview: For over 22 years, Watches of Switzerland has called Collins St home in Melbourne’s CBD, creating memorable experiences for the city’s most avid luxury watch afficionados. The store stocks theworld’s best luxury watch brands including: Rolex, Blancpain, Breguet, Breitling, Cartier, Omega, Roger Dubuis and Tudor. Now after many years of planning and a complete refurbishment of their famous Collins St location, they have re-launched their brand new, bigger, grander, multi-level boutique, marking an exciting new chapter in luxury watch retailing in Australia! One of the most demanding but highly rewarding Retail fitouts ONE68 have ever been involved in, this project was a true testament to everyone involved realising the client’s vision - the ONE68 Team and our Sub-Contractors alike. The scope of this ambitious project involved turning a two-story existing WOS store into a brand-new three-story store, compete with a new lift, downstairs VIP basement bar and an incredible u-shaped three-level staircase. The challenges were numerous, but all expertly handled by out incredibly capable Project Management and Onsite Teams - from a constantly changing worksite, which involved different stages of scaffold and exclusion zones, to problem solving and construction methodology on the run. Spanning three levels, no expense has been spared in creating a truly elevated and memorable experience for WOS clients. With luxury details such as ornate gold leaf ceilings, imported fluted stone staircases, luxurious marble bars & hand-blown feature lighting, this store is a high-end masterpiece!
