Project: Haileybury City Campus - Ground Floor Refurbishment

Overview: ONE68 recently completed the Ground Floor refurbishment of the Haileybury City Campus to create more usable spaces to meet the school’s needs…under a very tight schedule! With this fast-paced project having to be completed over the 2024 Term 2/3 mid-Semester break, we had 3 weeks to complete the 1300 sqm refurbishment of the majority of the Ground Floor space. The internal fitout works encompassed: new reception and waiting areas; new banquet seating and dining areas in the tuckshop area; new Middle School and informal classroom; new Library reception and workshop; Architecturally designed reading nook and additional study areas; 2 x large teaching spaces; 5 x new meeting rooms; green room for videography/photography; updated staff tearoom. This refurbishment included all new lighting, data, security and updated fire services, in addition to new floor and wall finishes. This project demanded from our Project Management and Onsite Teams a high-level of organisation, an ability to work well under pressure to tight timeframes and exceptional communication with key stakeholders - from commencement right through to completion. Our team took great care and consideration of the schools’ needs as it remained a Live Site during the duration of the entire refurbishment. We were proud to deliver this bespoke fitout to this esteemed educational institution to such a high standard, with much praise for the quality of our finishes and craftsmanship.
